Loved Wally like everyone else! He emceeds many events for us at Scholz’s, including our jalapeño eating contests.

He, my daddy Larry and Pam McGee went on a” goodwill “ trip to Slippery Rock one year.

Dad took several large jars of jalapeños to the game.

Wally told the crowd they were getting” Texas Pickles” at halftime.

Of course, the unsuspecting Pennsylvanians ate them whole.

Dad and Wally always laughed when telling how the stands emptied as they raced to get the coldest beverage they could find to cool off their tongues-ha!
