In 2002-2003. Texas became the first division I team in NCAA history to have:
football in the top 10
Basketball in the Final 4
Baseball in the CWS
Swimming and diving place 2nd nationally
Golf was 9th
Tennis reached the sweet 16
Indoor track was 9th
Outdoor track was 21st
Cross Country was 23rd.
Every men’s sport this year qualified for the NCAA postseason competition and all were in the top 25.
